The Commissioner is responsible for ensuring that Annual Reports are sent to the Minister of Labour for submission to the Legislature. Although separately produced, information about the operations of the Pay Equity Office and the Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal are combined into one report. Previous Annual Reports are available upon request.
The fiscal year for the Government of Ontario begins April 1 and ends on March 31.

Brief to the Federal Special Committee on Pay Equity
Federal Special Committee on Pay Equity was appointed by the House of Commons to conduct hearings on the matter of pay equity and to propose a plan to adopt a proactive federal pay equity regime, both legislative and otherwise.
The Ontario Pay Equity Commissioner was invited to appear before the Committee in Ottawa on May 4, 2016. The Commissioner gave a statement, followed by rounds of questions from the Committee members on a range of topics. The Commissioner also prepared and submitted a brief on behalf of the Ontario Pay Equity Commission.
