The pay equity process in each establishment
STC decided that each establishment would have
its own pay equity committee to help evaluate jobs. Where unions
were present, STC and bargaining agents negotiated and agreed on
pay equity plans. The legal requirements and the pay equity process
were the same for Belleville/Kingston, Toronto and Sarnia.
