  6.   Do salaries have to be listed in a pay equity plan?  

Vanessa is the Human Resources Administrator in a company which has a strict policy to not discuss salaries. She knows they have to post a plan but is worried about posting salaries. Do salaries have to be listed in a pay equity plan?

Yes. A company must post all of the information which was required to complete the pay equity process. This includes all salary information for female job classes and male job classes that were used as comparators.
No. Only the adjustments must be listed in the plan. Salary information is not required.
No. Employers do not have to list salary information on the plan but an employee requesting salary information to see if pay equity was done correctly must be given the information.
Yes. Employers must list salaries on the plan. To not include this information would be a contravention of the Act.
