This information shows how the Pay Equity Office helps employees with their concerns, assists employers and unions in achieving and maintaining pay equity, and provides dispute resolution services when required.


The Pay Equity Office

The Pay Equity Office (PEO) is an independent agency responsible for applying the Act. The PEO assists organizations and offers support to employees who have rights under the Act. Review Officers of the PEO investigate, mediate and resolve complaints.

We can help you understand and pursue your pay equity rights. You can:

Make a complaint

You can make a complaint by phone, fax or e-mail or by downloading an Application for Review Services form, filling it out, then e-mailing or faxing it to the Pay Equity Office.

Your complaint will be assigned to a Review Officer who will investigate, mediate a solution, or make a decision regarding your complaint.
